Opening a first project at Mwangaza

These 2 classrooms and teacher office are more than welcome in this little school with around 380 pupils. This brings the total number of classrooms to 6. We told them that this year we will add a new 3-classroom building, build with our new brick technology. Next year they may clean up the 2 remaining buildings and then they are good to go, at least for the classrooms.

The handover ceremony was nice with several dances, kids singing and even a dance competition.  Our guests Brian and Ilona from Premier Brands (Canada) and my daughter Kim and her husband Bob (CEO of Kim's Chocolates) brought some footballs, which were much appreciated.  We also got a lot of gifts like a bag of cocoa pods, which I will give to my woman group in Ikolombelo for fermenting and drying, chickens, handwoven carpets, etc. We felt very welcomed here!

Then it was up to Brian and Ilona, together with the DED Eston, to cut the ribbon.
