Lubaga handover ceremony

In Lubaga, we completed already a 3-classroom building in 2015.  Now, another 2 classroom-building could be handed over.  The building was not yet 100% finished, but they insisted for us to come to their village.  Completion will require another week or so.

This school of 620+ pupils has now 10 classrooms operational plus a staff room and a headmaster office.  In an ideal situation, they will have 6 more classrooms,which we intend to build in 2022/23 as we have more urgent needs elswhere to cater for.  Next year, we will clean up the other 3 buildings which are in a pretty good shape, but could use some fresh paint.

We had the traditional dancing and singing and listened to several speeches.  Thern we could cut the final ribbon of this trip.  In total we handed over 16 buildings to 15 villages.  This brings our total of completed classrooms, staff rooms and headmaster offices to 171.  Our project speeds up!!!
