Kajunjumele Handover ceremony

Finally, after more than one and a half years, they completed this 2-classroom building.  We found out that 2 villages were sending their children to this school, but they had a fall-out over the contributions they had to make for the labor.  We told them that for the next building, they first make the contributions and then start arguing again.  Nothing can stand in the way of good education!

We explained them that for 2017, we have the budget to start up a new building with a staff room, a library and a storage space right away, if they could come up with the money for the labor.  They promised to complete that building by the end of this year. In the next 3 years, we will each year renovate one of the other buildings.

We got some nice presents.
